About us
Established in 1980 by Kevin Luff whose previous experience of butchery
included working in many different butchers shops.
The shop has been a butchers for approximately 100 years and the building
according to our records has been there for up to 300 years.
Steven Luff joined the family business in 2004 after working in the shop
as a Saturday boy for many years. Steven joined after training as a
chef and then working for a specialist food manufacturer.
The core trade for us is the retail sector but we also do catering work
for pubs, restaurants, hotels and nursing homes. The retail sector is
ever increasing due to customers realising that there is no comparison
between our products and that of the major multiples, our motto is:- ‘Good
food doesn’t have to cost the earth’.
We visit Smithfield meat market once a week to buy speciality products. If we can't get it, you don't want it.
